Santa returns to LMMR for Christmas 2024

The Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway will be open to the public on Sunday 1st and Sunday 8th December 2024. Santa will be making his annual visit to the Cynheidre with train rides for all, a gift for each child and seasonal refreshments.

• Train rides will operate between 10.00am and 3.00pm on each day featuring our specially decorated train which will either be our Military Railcar no. AD9117 or one of our Pacer trains (to be confirmed closer to the dates).

• All visitors can have unlimited train rides.

• All child tickets will include a trip to Santa’s very special Grotto, with a gift for each child (aged 2-15)

• Seasonal refreshments including Mince Pies and Mulled wine (included with each adult and senior ticket) will be available in the buffet.

• Craft stalls for locally produced gifts.

Prices are £9.99 for adults (one cup of mulled wine and mince pie included) and children (visit to Santa and a gift included), and £8.99 for senior citizens (one cup of mulled wine and mince pie included). Children under 2 years travel free of charge with the option of paying £3.99 on the day to visit Santa and receive a gift. Family tickets (2 adults and 2 children) are available for £34.99 (a saving of £5 compared to purchasing 4 separate tickets).
